Customer Experience Specialist
I am a hard working and aspirational ex Bournemouth University student with vast experience in web development and SEO. I have taken courses in marketing and business management that have allowed me to further my understanding of the industry. Further trained in IT, I am comfortable operating and repairing computers to an advanced level as well as diagnosing problems with networks, electronics and mobile devices.
Creating dynamic websites, coding basic programs and apps is something I have always had the pleasure of being able to do for myself and others. I have also had internship experience in the marketing sector. This included getting involved with link building, SEO, social media and increasing web traffic. After doing a marketing Internship in Dublin, I joined one of the biggest SEO and marketing forums managing customer support and understanding needs of users.
I then joined one of the voted top places to work, Bazaarvoice. Here I support clients that include some of the biggest brands and companies in the world, such as Microsoft, Walmart and Argos. Bazaarvoice collates and manages user generated content, mainly in the form of reviews and ratings that can help businesses adapt to what customers want. I was also a Subject Matter Expert for SEO.
From there, I joined Hyperoptic as a Client Services Specialist. Hyperoptic specialises in bringing full fibre optic broadband direct to multi-dwelling buildings such as apartments and offices. If your building is within our catchment area, and enough residents show support by registering online, they can connect you to their future-proof full fibre network. I worked with sales team members to ensure a smooth delivery of broadband and to help get customers live. This includes collaborating with engineers, councils and TFL to get services installed.
My most recent career movement has taken me back into a digital marketing environment. With Adthena, I am able to work within a startup that is growing very fast and is going from strength to strength. I use my technical skills to find solutions to customers' problems, while also contributing ideas to the overall platform. Most of my work is via email, although I do work on the live chat system too.
